Maine Mothers and Women against CAFTA held a press conference in front of Senator Collin's office Friday May 6, 2005 in Lewiston, Maine- launching their campaign and petition drive on Mother's Day.

On June 13, Debbie Leighton of Bath, the coordinator of the petition drive, delivered the first set of collected petitions and signatures to the Portland office of Senator Olympia Snowe.
